Welcome to this week’s edition of the Friday 5! Where we will celebrate all the wonderful on-going work at the NRHCC.


  1. Happy Samoan Language week! This year also marks 60 years since Samoa, became the first South Pacific Island to become independent. A big fa’afetai to the team that have been working hard this week to celebrate Samoan language and culture here in the office and provided the delicious lunch for everyone today.












2. Tuesday 31st May the Outreach team were at The Auckland Chinese Community Centre supporting booster and flu vaccinations, the team also participated in Tai Chi with the locals.



3. This weekend Te Hononga is holding a Winter Wonderland vaccination event, offering Covid-19 vaccinations and flu immunisations. Once vaccinated people can move through to the observation tent and enjoy a movie while they wait.


4. Wednesday 1 June, the NRHCC Leads had their first speed meet event. The event was for the level 2 leads to get to know one another better and an opportunity to build stronger relationships across the various teams.


5. It’s the official One-year anniversary of the Friday 5! We hope you enjoy the weekly update and continue to send through any submissions to be features.
