Kia ora koutou,
Join us in celebrating the week that was, in this week’s Friday 5:
1. A huge shoutout to the Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei team at the Tāmaki Site who hit their 50,000 doses administered milestone. Well done on all your hard work over the past months to help protect our Whanau and keep them safe from Covid-19!
2. Malo to our Pacific Colleagues and all the staff who have been working on a range of Outreach activities over the past week, here are some wonderful photos from this week’s activities. Our Pacific colleagues are also only 160 doses away from hitting their 90% first doses administered milestone in Waitemata. We are so proud of the team, our partners and communities for coming together to achieve this. We now turn our attention to cheer on and support our Auckland and Counties' colleagues and whaanau. The continued dedication to their communities is amazing and we look forward to when they reach this milestone as well. The ultimate celebration however, is when we meet this target equitably for our Māori and Pasifika communities

3. On Thursday Dawson and his Outreach superstars made the journey to Northland to assist with the vaccination efforts there. In total they achieved 413 doses, with 219 of those being first doses! Well done to our Outreach teams for putting in the hard mahi and achieving these great results!

4. Today marks the day of Angela Lambie's 15 years of service! A big acknowledgement to Angela for her incredible commitment and passion to the job and for serving the people of Tamaki Makaurau.

5. Thank you to everyone in the team for all the fantastic work and pulling together over these past 100 days with the current delta outbreak everyone has adapted to an incredibly challenging environment. There is a lot to be proud of and we will continue to come together and do our much-valued work to protect our community from Covid-19.
Only 29 days until Christmas! What an opportune time to start spreading some Christmas cheer! Reminder From next week, December 1st, each department/team are welcome to start decorating their spaces/pods – there will be a competition for the most tree-mendous decorated pod so put your competitive boots on and get creative, its snow joke! Judges will be visiting decorated pods on Friday 10th December to decide on a winner! You are welcome to come dressed-up in your most cheerful Christmas attire/costume (optional, of course) for extra brownie points. So don’t miss out Yule be sorry!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
