Kia ora koutou,

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Friday 5! Where we celebrate all the wonderful on-going work at the NRHCC.

1. This week we had some past NRHCC staff pop in for a visit along with some new additions! Introducing the ‘Class of NRHCC 2021/2022’

2. Our Outreach team has been out supporting Community vaccination events whilst also providing Hep C testing. Here is some of the team at a local Pak’n’Save in their new ‘Stick it to hep C’ t-shirts.

3. From the 1st September we welcome teams to join the challenge laid out by the People, Culture and Well-being team! STEPtember is a fun and inclusive event that challenges teams to STEP UP whenever, wherever and however you like, the challenge will be running from the 1st– 30th September. Please register your teams via the following link

4. A huge shout out to the Residential Housing team who since January 2022 have actively assessed and managed 663 facilities across Metro Auckland. Here is some lovely feedback received by the team:

“I wanted to thank the team that liaised with us from NRHCC. You were awesome and so reassuring. Blessings on you all as you continue to work away for the health of our region.”

5. Whānau HQ have recently established a new tradition and begun a ‘fun Friday’ activity. Last Friday was sock day! We look forward to seeing what’s next on the agenda.

And finally, haere ra Pauline Faiumaono (Whānau HQ & NMF), Alana Meikle (EOC), Harriet Pauga (PaRCH) and Graziela Recto (Logistics). Thank you for all your mahi during your time at the NRHCC, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
