Join us in celebrating the week that was, in this week’s Friday 5:

1. Friday 19th Nov, ADHB was the first DHB in New Zealand to surpass the 90% double dose milestone. The team are proud of all the mahi involved to reach this accomplishment!

2. Following the Mount Smart ‘Mega Vaxx Pacific Drive Thru’ Vaccination event held last weekend we successfully delivered 2,755 doses! Of these doses a huge 2,078 doses were administered to Pacific Peoples and 26% were first doses. Thank you to everyone involved who organised this event.

3. Last weekend one of our Outreach initiatives was held at the Manurewa netball Courts in the form of a drive through cinema! A creative event for the current Alert level 3 climate. Ka pai to all the teams involved for this family fun event!

4. Earlier in November Rangeview Intermediate School ran a Vaccination event and piloted offering a range of Childhood immunisations alongside the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination. The team have completed a post implementation review to discuss any lessons learned and how this can be successfully rolled out at other schools. Thank you to the Schools project team and Outreach for bringing this idea to life!

5. A massive shout out the Mount Wellington Outreach team who piloted Hep C testing in transitional housing and have managed to test over 50 people in only 2 days! We hope to roll this out with more Outreach teams in the upcoming weeks.

NRHCC had a visit from the Minister of Health, Hon Andrew Little on Friday 19th and he joined in for the 90% dose 2 celebrations for ADHB and thanked everyone for all their hard work in reaching this milestone.

Today we say haere ra to one of our amazing ADHB Ops Lead, Lisa Middelberg. Thank you for all your valuable and contributing efforts to the Vaccination programme and congratulations on your new role!
