Kia ora koutou,
Welcome to this weeks edition of the Friday 5! Where we will celebrate all the wonderful on-going work at the NRHCC.
1. Today we are acknowledging all our wonderful kaimahi through out NMF who for the past 2 years have been working to support the MIQ process. MIQ has played a central role in preventing Covid-19 from entering the community across the border, to date 229,271 guests have stayed in our MIQs. Over the past 2 years, more than 4,500 kaimahi have been working to deliver a complex and ever-changing, front-line health response in the MIQFs across the Auckland Region. Thank you for all your hard work to keep Covid-19 out of the Community and keeping Aotearoa safe!

2. Thursday 17th March, our Māori Regional Coordination Hub (MRCH) and Pacific Regional Coordination Hub (PaRCH) had a piece on 7 Sharp, to talk through the work the team is doing to support covid-19 positive whanau while they isolate at home. With a key focus on Māori supporting Māori and Pacific supporting Pacific Peoples. Ka pai to all the staff for their mahi!

3. The new Workforce system was launched last week, allowing surge staff to book their own shifts via text. Since Friday 11th and through to the 20th March 48 shifts have been filled! This new workforce tool replaced a 20-minute manual process and since launched has saved 960 minutes (2 days work) for one person in the team! Monday 14 March was the first day there were no unfilled shifts during the surge
4. On Wednesday 16th March we had our first Novavax site go live at Mount Wellington! As of today, there are now 5 of our Vaccination Centres offering Novovax and just over 1,000 bookings in ‘Book My Vaccine’ through to the end of April! Well done to everyone involved for getting this rolled out at the sites!
5. Wednesday 16th March, we said farewell to Aotearoa’s largest drive through vaccination centre; Park’n’Ride! From the 22 August the Park’n’Ride has administered a total of 170,168 doses and was originally stood up to support the Delta Outbreak of 2021. A massive shout-out to all the teams involved with the initial set up and managing the day to day operations. Ngā mihi nui!

Reminder: For any teams with new starters or colleagues who aren’t on the existing distribution list please email these through to SRogers@adhb.govt.nz to be added to the Friday 5 distribution list.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Ngā mihi,
The Vaxx Programme
