Join us in celebrating the final Friday 5 for the year!

1. This week our colleagues in Counties Manukau DHB surpassed the 90% milestone for second doses. Well done to everyone and all the hard mahi to reach this wonderful achievement! More than 433,000 people over the age of 12 who live in Counties Manukau are now fully vaccinated

2. Today Friday 10th December launched the ‘kai in the streets’ campaign and over the 10th & 11th December the NRHCC Outreach team supported the Otahuhu Māori wardens’ event. More than half of the doses administered where to Māori and almost a third were Pacific Peoples and 50% of all the doses administered where first doses. Ka pai!

3. Here is some wonderful feedback from a visitor to the CBD site this week! Thank you to all our amazing kaimahi!

4. A huge shout out to Stella McKernan and Steve Ovens from the Consumer Experience Team who have scheduled over 1,400 people as part of the in-home vaccination programme!

5. Thursday 16th the Christmas decorating competition finally came to a head! The Bledisloe house teams competitive natures were exposed and our judges had a difficult job deciding the inaugural winner of the 2021 Christmas decorating competition.

Honourable mentions went to; Workforce Winter Wonderland, Santa’s Workshop, Finance’s ‘less is more’, Comms Gingerbread house and Santa’s Customer experience team!

Second place went to level 8! Who managed to move and decorate all in one week!

Frist place went to the PMO and Outreach team, also known as team ‘Gifted’

This week we say Haere ra to our wonderful colleague Karyn Sangster! Who is not only leaving the Vaxx whanau this week but also the CMDHB team after 42 years! Congratulations on your career and we wish you all the best for your doctorate, thank you for all your hard work during your time at the NRHCC.
