Kia ora koutou,
Welcome to this week’s edition of the Friday 5! Where we celebrate all the wonderful on-going work at the NRHCC.
1. On Thursday 12th August, our very own Pauline Sanders presented on ‘Understanding Equity’. The presentation took us through looking at the difference between equality & equity and how this translates into health disparity for our high needs populations. If you missed the presentation you can watch it using the link below, please see the presentation attached below.

3. The Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation Project has been conducting training for super users and team leads for our services in Highbrook and Bledisloe House. Next up are the enabling function leads and our leadership team. If you'd like to understand if you need QMS training please contact Joey Atkins (ADHB) at JAitkins@adhb.govt.nz.

4. In case you missed it, Jin Russell was on Seven Sharp last night! https://fb.watch/eRl1GdOW0U/
This was set up to support our ongoing winter wellness/resilience work and to help give some practical advice for parents who are still dealing with winter illnesses as well as longer term impacts of COVID-19 on their tamariki.

5. On Friday 12th August the Implementation team took some of the teams through an interactive workshop for the ultimate test in team building. The session covered leadership, communication, collaboration, trust, efficiency, support and general team vibes! Here are some photos from the challenges today!

And finally, haere ra Jeremy Vargo (Comms). Thank you for all your mahi during your time at the NRHCC, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours!
