Tālofa lava,
Join us in celebrating Samoan Language 2021! This year’s theme for Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoa Language Week 2021 is Poupou le lotoifale. Ola manuia le anofale which means strengthen the posts of your house, for all to thrive. On that note welcome to this week’s Aso Faralie lima.

1. Shout out to Highbrook for reaching their 50,000 vaccinations administered milestone on Wednesday 2nd June. Faamalo faafetai team on all your hard work! On Wednesday 2nd June the programme had their biggest day so far almost reaching 8,000 vaccinations with a total of 7,924 doses administered in one day.
2. Malo lava to the ARC team as they are passed half way mark for their first dose visits
3. Congratulations to everyone in the NRHCC Vaxx team as it has been announced that the team are finalists for the WDHB Health Excellence awards. Please see below submission:

4. Malo le galuega! To our customer experience team on receiving and dealing with a whopping 622 enquiries last week. This is no small feat and we appreciate your hard work dealing with some curly questions.
5. Special mention to the Manurewa Marae team and their agalelei approach in all aspects of their centre! One example of this is their security team going above and beyond and escorting kuia across the road to ensure a postive vaccination experience for all.

Who wore it best?

This week is our first week of who wore it best! Introudcing our ofoofogia office coordinator Molly Semo, pairing her mustard jumper with a pair of timeless Chuck Taylors . Gillian Holmes our matagofie vaccination programme support has decided to go with a more neutral shoe to tie the piece together. Any submissions for who wore it best please send through to NRHCCVacCoordination@nra.health.nz to be featured in future editions!
And our final shout out goes to tinamatua Heather Towned who welcomed her first grandaughter this week!
Enjoy the long weekend and see you all next week.
