Kia ora koutou,

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Friday 5! Where we will celebrate all the wonderful on-going work at the NRHCC.

1. From the 1st of March Auckland Metro has now distributed close to 3 million RAT tests to Tāmaki Makaurau! Ka pai, to all the front-line staff supporting our distribution centres and the team behind the scenes ensuring all sites have enough stock on hand.

2. We said haere ra to the Novotel Ellerslie MIQ, which opened on the 11th April 2020 and over the past 2 years has seen over 8,549 guests to date! Thank you to our NMF staff who have been working to support all the returnees through what can be a difficult time.

3. Sunday 27th March was the last day for The Cloud Vaccination Centre! The Cloud originally opened on the 4th of February to support the Omicron Outbreak and expected surge and to date has delivered 3,468 doses of which 92% were boosters! The team also adapted to become a RATS distribution centre to support testing demand. Thank you to all the Kaimahi involved with setting up the site and managing the day to day operations. Ngā mihi nui!

4. The NRHCC central Southern hub outreach team visited the Grand Central Station Apartments and offered testing and vaccination for over 300 apartments. The team were able to engage to support people to and refer them to Mental Health services and identified a new Hep C case which was also referred and picked up quickly by our ADHB partners. The team did multiple RATS and vaccinations so an all-round successful visit in a lovely historical building which was built in 1930 and is a heritage building

5. This week the teams based at Bledisloe House had a bit of a move around! All our Programmes of work Testing, Vaccination, Border & Whanau HQ / NMF teams are now all located on level 6 and all our shared services have now moved to level 8. Thank you to all our amazing teams who supported the move with the scheduling of moving, setting up IT equipment and the rearranging of furniture. The relocation of teams in the building is intended to support ways of working and enable services and functions closer to working and collaboration through co-location. Please see below floorplans of where teams have now moved to.

And finally haere ra to Fathiyahh Ismail who will be leaving NRHCC today. Fathiyahh has been supporting the Clinical Governance team in Vaccination for the past year and will be greatly missed by the team! Thank you for all your mahi during your time at the NRHCC, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Reminder: For any teams with new starters or colleagues who aren’t on the existing distribution list please email these through to SRogers@adhb.govt.nz to be added to the Friday 5 distribution list.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Ngā mihi,

The PMO Team
