Kia ora koutou,
Join us in celebrating the week that was, in this week’s Friday 5:
1. The first of our Pacific Pop-up clinics went live today at the EFKS Church in Mangere East, the pop-up is expecting to vaccinate 150 people each day. A special thank you to Reverend Victor Pousei for the use of the church and engaging with our Pacific community.

2. shout out to Steph and Louise in the comms team, for supporting the design of our covid booths for pop-ups events in a short space of time and turned an idea into a reality. Ka Pai!

3. The outreach service to disabled people living in community residential homes began on the 9th of July. In total 336 disabled people and staff have been vaccinated by the outreach program to date. The team have been receiving wonderful feedback “…we were really appreciative of the outreach team on Monday, they did a great job. Once the data was set up in their system, which took about 30 minutes, the morning flowed very well. All 56 vaccinations were completed by 11:30am. What was especially beneficial to the residents and day programme participants, was that their family members and our staff were able to have their vaccinations alongside those we serve (people with intellectual/ physical disabilities). That normalised the process and showed dignity and respect to an extremely vulnerable client group.”
4. The Vaccination programme had the biggest day yet with 11,929 vaccinations administered in one day in the Northern Region! Brining the programme total to 679,712 doses.
5. Primary Care has surpassed the 100,000 vaccinations administered milestone and have a total of 41 live sites with a plan to onboard another 78 sites.
Shout out to all the vaccination centres and the hard work that is going on out in the community

Have a good weekend everyone.
Ngā mihi,
The Vaxx Programme
